After practicing with some shapes I started to get an idea on the direction I wanted to go with my sculpture. I have some images here of some really basic models I made as I was deciding which shape to choose. I really liked the triangle pattern so I decided to draw a few sketched ideas on how I could expand on this and make it more detailed. Once I had a good idea on how I wanted the shape and patterns to be created I got started on making the sculpture.
