Richard Sweeney Workshop

Our first workshop for the skills module project which was ran by Richard Sweeney, a well known paper sculptor. He showed us how to develop basic 3D shapes using only cutting, tearing and folding. I liked this workshop and enjoyed experimenting with the different styles to find out the outcome. Here I have uploaded some pictures I took after creating my final three sculptures. All of these I created using the same principle of cutting into strips first, then altering the length of the strips and slots they fold into.
